Laughs, chuckles and days of yore
At the 30 April gathering, author Jim Parsons entertained us with readings from his humorous novel Beetle Creek, Dad ‘n’ Dave-type goings in a small town family.
It reminded many blokes of our early days and many a chuckle was heard. Jim also took questions about writing, including about penning autobiography and ‘my story’ type tomes. Jim, whose wife works at the Broadie library, also signed copies of his book.
